Daily, conscientiously, I consult dozens of job offers posted on LinkedIn or other online job boards, with both a critical and an open mind.
This routine and one particularly insane job ad for a HR Director position triggered this story...

Sugarcoating reality
Let’s agree it’s fair for a company to sugarcoat the reality of the job in order to attract the most relevant candidates in a market where the talent war rages.
But when we reach the profile section of these ads, and specifically the qualifications expected from the ideal candidates (...), it feels like we’re traveling through another dimension, into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination.
These qualifications are indeed surreal!
Are they not grotesquely exaggerated?
