A global pandemic, forcing the whole planet in quarantine, suddenly synchronises all our individual clocks, it stops all our own shores and horizons from moving away. Diving into your own imagination no longer puts the real world at a distance.

It is as if we were living this very Day When The Earth Stood Still.

In 1951, Wise and North envisioned a scary future, drawing their inspiration from a short story by Harry Bates. We have reached this future.
